My Grandmother, Magnolia Marine was the epitome of a great wife, mother, seamstress, and a cook. She took great pride in her appearance and everything she presented. I will never forget the first meal we prepared together…Rice Crispy Treats! Even though it was a simple snack, it was made with love. Maggie was not a simple average cook by far. All of her foods were hand selected and absolutely no corners were cut to save a buck. She laid the foundation for all the great chefs in my family. I was fortunate to have her passion and talent for cooking. My grammy was effortlessly phenomenal and I am happy she shared her kitchen with me.
